Kaestrings, born Kingsley Innocent Owoicho-Oche on November 24, 1993, is a renowned Nigerian gospel artist, worship leader, and songwriter from Benue State, raised in Zaria, Kaduna State. He is a member of the Idoma ethnic group and studied Fine Arts at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. His musical journey began in a Christian home surrounded by musically inclined siblings and later flourished through his involvement with the Koinonia worship team led by Apostle Joshua Selman. Kaestrings rose to fame with his breakout single “Ga Shi Nan (He Is Here),” which was featured during Nathaniel Bassey’s #HallelujahChallenge. His music, known for its deep spiritual impact and acoustic fusion of Hausa and English, is often described as soul-soaking and has become a staple in many worship sessions across Nigeria.

Kaestrings has released a rich catalogue of gospel songs including “He Is Enough,” “Yesu Mai Girma,” “Yahweh (Godiya Gareka),” “Here I Am (Acoustic),” and “The Father’s Love.” His collaborations with artists like Lawrence Oyor, JayMikee, and Tee Worship showcase his versatility and commitment to spreading the gospel through music.
